The registration for the 1st season of the Nordic Go League is now closed and the playing schedule up. The first round will be May 13th. Some teams may reschedule so check the league table for precise dates.
The 2008/2009 season have only one division of 8 teams if more teams express interest within the next months we might arrange a division for them too. Otherwise all new teams will be welcome for the 2009-2010 season.

The following is a resume of the Nordic Go League's main season:

• League: Groups (divisions) of ca. 8 teams.
• Teams: 5-10 players from a nordic go club.
• Teams organized descending after the rating of the first 5 players.
• 7 rounds of team matches with 4 boards from May the 1st to January the 31st.
• Standings decided by wins/draws/loss – tiebreaker board points.
• Games are played on KGS in room Nordic Go League (under Social) or IRL, settings: 30 min., 20/5 Canadian byo-yomi, komi: 6.5, no handicap.
